Creating a Safe School Environment Through Prevention and Preparedness.

Please join recognized experts from around the state and nation as we discuss best practices for student and educator safety and creating safe school environments. With a theme of Cultivating Hope, Safety, and Connection In Our Schools, this statewide summit is designed for school safety teams, educators, school nurses, mental health professionals, law enforcement, and emergency and disaster preparedness coordinators.

Opening Keynote

Kristi Krings is the CEO of Rachel’s Challenge, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping schools build positive, connected

cultures that support student well-being and prevent violence. Since its founding in 2001, Rachel’s Challenge has reached more
than 30 million students and educators nationwide, providing evidence-informed programming focused on connection, empathy,
and student voice.

The personal touch by the Bullock family to have the barbeque and mingle with all of us was so heart felt. Their story inspires purpose in education at a time when purpose and inspiration are so needed.
